How It Works?
When you are faced with a large task or series of tasks, the methodology encourages you to break the work down into short, timed intervals (called “Pomodoros”) that are spaced out by short breaks. By doing this, your brain is trained to focus for very short periods, which helps you stay on top of deadlines and prevents your inbox from filling up.
Examples of some of the people it works for:

- Limit distractions.
- Keep track of how long you’re spending brainstorming / writing /revising.

- Separate time you spend developing and refactoring.
- Reduce amount of bad code.

- Teach kids how to do a work Pomodoro (like cleaning up their toys), followed by a fun Pomodoro (like reading Harry Potter out loud, or drawing).
- Spend a Pomodoro or two on focused housework.
- Give kids with ADD breaks between Pomodoros to let out energy.
Directors
- Give actors breaks during demanding filming schedules.
- Pace films according to viewers’ attention spans.
