NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)

NLP (Neural Linguistic Programming) is and used to uncover the subconscious directions that are in conflict with the direction you want to go. Without this intervention at our retreat, the 40K conscious conflict with the 40,000,000k unconscious that has been automatically programed by an event you may not remember or a pattern of behavior you wish to change using the almost powerless conscious mind, you are almost powerless to go the direction that you consciously want to go.

Ever notice that no matter how hard you try, lasting change in the direction of your conscious choosing seems impossible. Now you know why.

After uncovering the subconscious saboteur of your conscious desires, we further use NLP to analyse the needs of the various parts of the subconscious in making a suggestion that satisfies the total subconscious mind including the parts all working to protect you, although sometimes resulting in detrimental outcomes due to a power imbalance. For instance, the part of the mind that looks after your security may have overshadowed the emotional loving side because of a previous emotional hurt. However, because it does so in an imbalanced manner, it may result in an emotional suppression that prevents more full and appropriate emotional expression and happiness. We use this information to develop a “well formed outcome. “

3 Components Of NLP

You can understand the idea behind NLP by focusing on the three central components.

1. Subjectivity

Because each person experiences the world subjectively, these experiences are constituted in terms of our five senses, as well as the language we use. these experiences are formed through the senses of vision, audition, tactition, olfaction and gustation and through the language, we use to think and talk about the experiences. These subjective experiences have a pattern which influences the way you see the world, talk about it and behave in it.

Because the human behavior is controlled by these sense-based representations, by manipulating the sense-based subjective experiences, it’s possible to change behavior.

2. Consciousness

The premise of NLP believes consciousness branches into two separate notions, the conscious component and the unconscious component. All of us experience things in our unconscious mind, even though these unconscious representations can affect our conscious behavior.

3. Learning

NLP sees learning as an imitative behavior, which they call modeling. The theory states that imitative learning can codify and reproduce any desired behavior.

Common Strategies Of NLP

The idea of NLP is heavily based on the ideas of a strategy, as it sees your internal and external behavior uses processing strategies for each behaviour and response. The system uses different ideas of strategies as part of explaining human behavior, as well as a way to change it. The most common strategies of NLP are Modeling, NLP strategy of external and internal experiences, and The T.O.T.E. model

FAQ

What Is NLP?

NLP stands for ‘Neuro Lingusitic Programming’ and has been around since 1970’s when its co-founders, Richard Bandler and John Grinder first modelled other therapists.

NLP is frequently known as the “users manual for your mind” and studying NLP gives us insights into how our thinking patterns can effect every aspect of our lives.

It looks at the way in which we think and process our thoughts (Neuro), the language patterns we use (Linguistic) and our behaviours (Programming) and how these interact to have a positive (or negative) effect on us as individuals.

NLP is a collection of a wide range of methods and models which create an understanding of thought process and behaviour. Understanding these techniques can bring about a positive change in you and others.

The co-creators of NLP defined NLP as follows:

“NLP is an attitude which is an insatiable curiosity about human beings with a methodology that leaves behind it a trail of techniques.” Richard Bandler (co-creator of NLP)

“The strategies, tools and techniques of NLP represent an opportunity unlike any other for the exploration of human functioning, or more precisely, that rare and valuable subset of human functioning known as genius.” John Grinder (co-creator of NLP)

How can I benefit from using NLP?

NLP can have a positive effect on every aspect of your life. it can be used to move forward with some specific challenge or issue, or can be adopted more generically to make a difference to all areas of your life:

How does NLP work?
Have you ever done something so elegantly and effectively that it took your breath away? Have you had times where you were delighted at what you did and wondered how you did it?
NLP shows you how to understand and model your own successes, so that you can reproduce them. It is a way of discovering and unfolding your personal genius, a way of bringing out the best in yourself and others.
NLP is the study of excellence. It is the study of both the conscious and unconscious processes that combine to enable people to do what they do. The key to success is often unknown at a conscious level. Using NLP you can elicit these unknown pieces.
You may want to improve your relationships, or eliminate an anxiety, or become more competitive in the market place. The key pieces are not found in the muscles, but in your inner thoughts, like words or pictures, or feelings or even beliefs. Once you know these unknown pieces you can change them. NLP exercises are like thought experiments, mental exercises or a game. The laboratory is your mind.
How did NLP develop?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming was first defined by Dr Richard Bandler (a Mathematician) and John Grinder (an Associate Professor of Linguistics) working together at the University of California , Santa Cruz , in the early l970s at a time of rapid development in the humanities field.
They asked the important question “What is it that makes the difference between somebody who is merely competent and someone who excels at the same skill?” and decided to model various people i order to discover the answers. It just so happens that three people they chose to model were the outstanding therapists, Fritz Perls (Gestalt Therapy), Virginia Satir (Family Therapy) and Milton Erickson (world renowned psychiatrist who gave his name to a form of hypnosis). They could just as easily have modelled outstanding businessmen or scientists.
Richard Bandler and John Grinder modelled their language, physiology and mental processes and then identified patterns (rather than theories) which could be explicitly taught. NLP also drew on many existing fields of study including the work of Chomsky in linguistics, of Korsybski in general semantics, Ashby in systems thinking and many, many others.
Do I need a NLP Trainer or an NLP Practitioner?

That depends on what you hope to achieve.

If you would like one to one support to achieve a specific goal or deal with a particular challenge in your life, then you may like to consider visiting an NLP Professional (a Practitioner or Master Practitioner).

If you would like to learn more about NLP, either for your own personal development or because you are considereing a career change or additional career, then you are looking for an NLP trainer. You can then attend some NLP Training and become a qualified Pracititoner yourself.

How long does it take to see results?

Our students generally see results very early on in the program. The methods we teach have worked for hundreds of students and they will work for you too. All you have to do is diligently make use of the tools and techniques that we prescribe in this course. In as little as a week or two, you will experience some lucidity in your dreams. Or maybe not, it really depends on the intention you set. However, do note that the experience of Lucid Dreaming can be very intense for some, and it’s different for everyone. So trying to rush through the process might not be a great idea.

But overall, we’re confident to say that you will see some results in 30 days or less. You’ll experience more awareness during the day, you’ll see you recall your dreams more often, and you’ll have your first signs that you’re lucid in your dreams.
If you’re skeptical, try this program anyway because you have 30 days to prove your skeptic mind wrong. With a program of this Caliber, it’s hard for you to NOT see results.
